Moldova 1 is the public television station of the Public Institution "Teleradio - Moldova" Company. The television has national coverage and broadcasts 24 hours a day. The editorial policy of the institution is a general one.

The National Television program includes entertainment, informative, cognitive, journalistic and analytical programs. Moldova 1 broadcasts shows produced and produced by the creative teams of the public television station, as well as shows made by Deutsche Welle, Free Europe.

Moldova 1 has the exclusive right to broadcast on the territory of the Republic of Moldova the concerts within the European Song Contest "Eurovision Song Contest" and the World Cup. Public television organizes, conducts and promotes social campaigns.

Moldova 2 is the second public television channel in Moldova, launched on 3 May 2016 on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of TeleRadio-Moldova. The broadcast started with images from the Cup to Table Tennis among journalists of "Press Open Moldova 1".

The launch of Moldova 2 came on the recommendation of the European Broadcasting Union, but also on the need to cover the transmission of a large amount of sport content.
